fast east donut recipe using biscuits!3 months

Hello I just wanted to share this recipe I found.

Its quick, easy and affordable.

Take a can of biscuits, seperate them, then punch a hole in each biscuit to create a traditional donut shape.

Next, fry them in oil. (Use a deep pot or pan.)

They come out as fresh, fluffy, buttery donuts that you can either glaze in chocolate or whatever you like.

We like to make a pumpkin spice glaze using powdered sugar, with enough half-n-half added to make it a glaze like texture. Then we whisk it adding in some pumpkin pie spice. After you mix this well, just dip the tops of your donuts in it.

And thats all there is to it.

Quick, simple, easy, cheap and DELICIOUS.

Making these has become a weekend morning tradition for us. Cheaper and better than Dunkin Donuts. smiley

I just wanted to share this gem, Enjoy ya'll.

Mom used to make these when I was a kid. They were delicious! Haven't had them in years.

How many calories in one biscuit? You may need to use a scale and weigh the biscuit/donut if you cut-out the center, then read the can and see how much it is per oz. Then just add in the oil cals and what ever topping you have chosen.
