Gaining

How much is too much?

As far as diabetes is concerned, I'd very much recommend finding out if you have family history. Also if you're eating tons of sugar, you might consider picking up a glucometer, which you can normally purchase on sale for literally next to nothing at a major Pharmacy if you keep an eye on their advertisements. Use it to check your blood sugar every once in a while, along with your doctor visits of course, and if your blood sugar is going higher than 140-150 a couple hours after you've eaten, go see a doctor immediately.

Note: I'm not a medical professional or anything, this isn't expert advice. I'm just a diabetic. And trust me, while it might be manageable, you -do not- want diabetes, type I or II. smiley Even with medication and proper management, it still is going to knock years off your life, unless of course, it gets cured. Which I'm rather hoping for. smiley
