feeling queasy or full? natural things to help you feel better!10 years

Ginger Honey and Lemon tea

Good for:
-stopping you feeling queasy/nauseaous i.e. easing upset stomach (anti-emitic)
-easing sore throats and bunged up sinuses
-generally aiding digestion and breathing
-tastes nice

I recommend this to my singing students as a poor man's "throat coat"

get a lump of raw root ginger (anti-emitic) about the size of the top joint of your thumb - slice or peel off the brown rind, chop the flesh up small, put it in a mug or a teapot and pour about half a pint of boiling water on it.. add honey (soothing and antiseptic) and lemon juice to taste... sip it down! smiley

Raw root ginger looks like this:

It's generally sold by the pound/kilo and it's ok to break off a lump (like when you buy bananas) one of those lumps in the pic would do for 3 or 4 mugs/servings...

You can just buy the ready-made tea bags mind you!

Another thing to help digestion after a meal (including a heavy meal! or even several heavy meals) is Mint Tea...

Another thing that helps is, before you stuff, eat a tablet of pepto-bismol first.

Anti-acids sometimes help too, depending on what you're eating.
