We're just haggling over the price...

Chapter 1

She was nervous. Answering a job posted online to be a personal assistant was worrisome enough without the interview being in the potential employer's condo. She adjusted her skirt, the waistband was digging in and she regretted eating the half a muffin she had with her morning coffee. She wasn't fat by any means, but she intended to keep it that way.

She checked the time, 11am. Taking a deep breath she rang the buzzer number.

"Hello, I'm here for the - " a soft but firm voice interrupted her, "the door is open."

The condo was clean, upscale. As clean and upscale as the attractive man who opened the door for her and ushered her inside.

He was tall, fit, and possibly the most attractive man she had ever seen. She felt her a slight wetness in her panties and blushed. He smiled at her.

"Let's get started shall we?" He led her to a sofa and sat in an armchair facing her. She sat and placed her resume on the coffee table separating them. He looked at her.

"I'm not going to read that. I'm sure I have a better way of deciding whether or not you can fulfill my needs than by hearing all about the uninteresting places you've worked before." She stared at him, confused.

"I need someone that can move into the condo next door, someone close at hand to help me organizing and executing my hobbies." She fidgeted nervously, and he smiled warmly at her. "Oh my dear don't worry. I would never ask or expect you to do anything you didn't want to... but I know you, Jane. I know that you are young, and broke, and desperate for employment. I know that you want to be taken care of, and that you would give anything to have some money in the bank and a nice place to live...like the condo next door."

He stood. Jane stiffened slightly, but he moved past her and into the kitchen, re-emerging with a large cake, covered in frosting. He placed it on the coffee table and laid a single fork to one side, then sat back in his chair.

She looked at the cake, then at him, confused. He laid a key on the table. "Jane, this is the only set of skills that matter for this position. I need to know that you can do what I ask you to do, when I ask you to, and that you will not bother your pretty little head with the reasons that I ask you to." He slid the key next to the cake. "This key is for the condo next door. If you eat this cake, within the next 30min, the job is yours, guaranteed for the length of the contract, which is 1 year...and is open to extension.

Her stomach growled softly. The cake was making her mouth water, and the thought of a job and a paid-for apartment for a year... It was weird, no doubt...but she had heard stranger stories about executives before... "Maybe it's some power game he's learned, maybe he was trained to do this..."

He frowned and leaned forward, and began to pull the key back, slowly.

"No!" she said, suddenly. "Wait." He smiled slowly and leaned back in his chair.

"Yes?" he whispered.

"I'd like the job...please."

He leaned very close. "Show me how much you want it."

She picked up the fork and took a large chunk of the moist cake, held it for just a moment, reconsidering, then placed it in her mouth and began to chew. The next bite was faster, as was the third, and fourth, and tenth.

Her skirt began to press firmly into her stomach as it filled with cake, but she didn't dare loosen it, not with his gaze so intently locked on her.

She was full, the cake tin was barely half-empty, she glanced up at him, her face smeared with chocolate icing, a few beads of sweat on her upper lip. He checked his watch and smiled at her. " 10min Jane. If you can't do what I ask, I can't give you a job.

Her heart began to pound, only 10min left! She took double high scoops of cake and shoved them in her mouth, only bothering to chew what she couldn't gulp down.

He stared impassively at her, over steepled fingers as she crammed the last of the cake into her mouth with under a minute to spare. Icing clung to her face in streaks, and she was visibly in pain. Her skirt cut into her bloated midsection, and her brow was coated in sweat. It took all of his willpower to stop an erection.

He stood, taking the cake tin and the fork out of her hands, and returned with a napkin. She took it gratefully and wiped her face, blushing at the amount of icing that came away with each wipe.

"Well Jane, I think you will make do rather nicely. I expect you to be moved in by this time tomorrow morning...We have a lot of work to do."

'She bit her lip to stop from crying as she felt her belly bouncing as she jumped.' Simple, perhaps, but one of my all time favorite lines, in context.
