I have reconfigured my entry for my weight gain goal on here to interesting degrees. I currently weigh around 250 lbs. and set my new goal weight to be 350 lbs. For my monthly gain I put it to the highest weight setting that FF will allow which is 15 lbs. which then suggests that in order to reach that monthly milestone I would need to consume about 5196 calories per day for 6 months and 23 days. I also put down that I live a somewhat active lifestyle as I felt that was the most appropriate choice for me.
I know that this is only a calculated suggestion from FF AI and that there would be many more variables such as genetics and biological uniqueness. Not to mention the cost of getting enough food to equate to that much calories daily.
But let’s say hypothetically that this would be at all very possible; could I have any suggestions as to possible dietary methods to reach the daily calories I would need to consume? When I did look up ideas for gaining 5000 calories daily it would always be for only gaining muscle which I do not want to just be muscle. One possible idea is to probably go to buffets more often to get more bang for your buck, especially for when I have trained my body to consume tons of food. I know that might not be the most cost effective method but I figure it be a bit better than spending around the same amounts, if not more, on still limited amounts on fast food or spending hundreds of dollars on more fattening groceries.
Again, I know this is mostly hypothetical as my current lifestyle would not allow me to go forward with anything like that for now.
For anyone else, what was the most amount of weight that you have gained in a month? Has anyone on here ever been able to gain 15 or so pounds in that amount of time? If so, how did it affect you in any way? I am curious to know.
