My wife always has had an eating lifestyle that leads to being overweight. I encourage her in that lifestyle; having seen her "thin", I definitely prefer her bigger version.

For the most part she is happy. She is happy living a simple life, no stress eating, fun. She loves the care, attention, and adoration she gets from me.

The only thing that keeps coming back is "nobody likes big fat women; on the street men would call me this and that"

I *know* I'm not the only one liking a woman bigger instead of smaller. But does anyone have a link to an article, study, whatever, that has some kind of data? A survey that says "x% of men like an overweight woman", something like that?

well outside of showering her this site and feabie.com you could always troll the web a bit and start a few polls cause its one of those things where people may like bigger girls but dont wave the flag proudly

i have no numbers to back this up, but I think a fairly decent amount of men like fat women. Even more would like them if being fat wasn't such a social stigma. There is so much porn and in so many variations dedicated to fat women, Its gives me a pretty good idea that there are a lot of appreciators out there.

What your wife is complaining about sounds like something else. You see, when people become fat, they become targets. It is unfortunate but being fat usually means that you have to be able to handle a lot uncalled for criticism in a lot of environments. A lot of people see that being fat means that you can improve yourself by getting thin, which of course is bull shit. If you're happy the way you are, and you're healthy, it shouldn't matter. And most of the time, the criticism comes from people that you really don't need to care about anyway.

Every year pornhub posts stats about usage and popularity of categories etc... Over the past year. You could take a look at that for some insights into the relative popularity of bbws, amongst other things.

I agree with Dutch feeder.....I think there are a bunch of men that prefer women a bit heavier than skinny. Also, I think there are a lot more men than we would think that live fatter women.....as ChrisF mentioned is shown by stats on porn hub for plumper and fat porn. With all this said though I believe that many of these Men are still in the closet so to speak. Sure they are looking at this Fat porn but they aren’t confident enough to go out and find a Fat girlfriend or wife. I believe this can break down into categories of Men that are aroused by Fatter women and those that have a weight gain fetish and are seeking it for total arousal.....and there are a bunch of side categories in there as well. Obviously social stigma, age and culture definitely are something to factor in.

This is a scientific difficult flat percentage thing to put a number to it I would say.
