Sextortion scam

A member has recently reported that they received an email, containing a genuine password used on this website, stating that a virus was installed on their device that took video of them watching porn. The email then demands money, threatening to send the video to all their contacts.

Please be aware that this email is a scam and don't, whatever you do, send them any money. The scary thing about this email is that it contains a genuine password that they've managed to get hold of through a legacy data breach on another website. I've received email like this myself and just deleted them without consequence. You can read more about the scam on the Action Fraud website at actionfraud.police.uk/alert/alert-cyber-criminals-send-victims-their-own-passwords-in-new-sextortion-scam

The website recommends that you don't pay them anything, change your password, update your browser and applications to the latest versions and report the email to them. Always choose a unique and strong password for your Fantasy Feeder account.
