After a quick look at muscle transformation artwork... Im still a bit troubled. But at this point, im more troubled with the articulation, which can be a phylosophical thing more than anything. I have one example i can give. I certainly have a sexual interest towards muscular women. The articulation problem comes here. Is it fair to label that interest per se as a fetish? There are some reasons i would avoid doing that. The interest in muscular women is there because i have this fantasy of being in the hands of someone so powerful i could not resist, etc. Which means its not necesary that i like muscular women on their own, a muscular figure on a partner, for me, serves into making the sub/dom dynamic more real, or more extreme, or whatever, right? So, shouldn't maybe the sub/dom thing be labeled as a fetish by itself, instead?

Then of course there are all sorts of arrangements. For example one could say that both are fetishes. Someone could even say that they both are just one fetish and the articulation is bad because in it, they are seperated when they shouldn't.

All that kind of makes it hard for me at least to answer a question of "is X thing a fetish"? (Which is similar to "Is X fetish a thing?"

Uhm, maybe its a bit easier to just think of all this as a big box with everything about sexuality, and the criteria for if a thing can be included in it would be "Something that alters how you'd wanna have sex"?

Is that a thing? I got into bodybuilding for the last year and really loving watching my body put on weight and size (be it mostly muscle).

Maybe, im curious about how you experience this. I would like to know in more detail. Is it the progression that makes you feel in a certain way? And if yes, why exactly is that it, etc.

Im trying to think of questions that would help direct your attention somewhere, but really anything towards questioning what it is that you like exactly about this, will be helpfull in answering the question of your post.

I can only provide a short example of myself. By getting fatter i also become weaker (or i at least percieve it like that) which is something exciting for me because im into dom/sub dynamics etc. Does that make sense of what im asking you?

Totally. I was 225 5 years ago. Went on wegovy, dropped over 100 lbs, but while I was elated that I was finally the size I wanted to be my whole life, I felt weak and sick all the time.
So I got off the wegovy and focused my once again large appetite on protein and started a training two time a day 6 days a week to battle the depression I had developed.
I feel transformed internally now. My confidence, sex drive, self image is 100 times better than when I was 103 lbs.

You could go into more depth, but that's a good enough response! So, assuming from the title, i now have another question. What makes you think that what you just described is a fetish?

I mean, no doubt that its definetely something that makes you feel really good, and its actually good too, but where is any kind of fetishization in that? At least with how you described it so far, i really don’t see something that would make it a fetish per se.

The thing is what i described is going to be a problem when i need to articulate my fetishes to some hypothetical partner. I could describe just the fantasies, but that has its own problems.

Sometimes I think my real “core” kink is transformation and everything else flows from that. All forms of rapid weight gain and increasing size are types of transformation. I think the pig/cow thing is a great example of how common tf is in the community. Sometimes if I just hear the word “transform” it’s enough to get my brain whirring with those hot thoughts 🥵
