I wonder what the membership split is here between males and females? I bet it is fairly even, but the guys seem to be by far the more active as far as time actually on the site.

I like a lot of the changes to the site, but I feel like putting the shouts on a separate page has changed the nature of the feature.
Before it was like a running conversation amongst a crowd or group of friends. Now it feels more like a community bulletin board. Tack up a flyer, come back later, and see if someone posted a response or tore off one of the strips with your contact info.
Now that I think about it, it feels like a general chat forum page! Thoughts?

Woo-hoo! The site finally tracks who views your profile. It is a great feature on other sites.

I can understand the limits on messages and such for free accounts, but I'm worried that putting do much search and profile functionality behind the pay wall is discouraging real interpersonal connections.

I'm doing all I can to try and improve connections between members whilst still keeping the website financially viable. A new feature has been introduced in the past few days which is available to all members. If you go to a members profile, click on the activity tab and you should see all their most recent shouts. I'm working on improving this to include updates of other activity also, including photo and video uploads etc.

Looking through the new/online users lists here are frustrating. All sorts of great nerdy avatars... and almost all are guys. Where are the geek girls? Shout out nerdy ladies, we love ya.

Just had the new chocolate strawberry poptarts. Don't bother. The smell of warm cocoa puffs emanating from the toaster oven was soon replaced by the taste of disappointment.

Good to know the site now tracks profile views. Our count is awful, though. Now I'm disappointed.
