Raichu's my favorite.

But who wouldn't want a marching duck pokémon?! (Farfetch'd, of course)

I told myself I wasn't going to buy any more Pokemon games. That I was too old for them, that the formula was repetitive to point of being unfun, that I broke my old DS lite so I'd have nothing to play it on...

I purchased SoulSilver (and a used DS lite) the first week of release.
I regret nothing!

lol, the repetitiveness is what keeps it alive in my opinion, anyone could leave it for 10 years and pick up right where they left, plus as i've heard Satoshi say in an interview, there is an inhuman drive in all of us to...

CATCH THEM ALL!!!

I'mma start Heart Gold this week.

Question. If I find usable wi-fi, can I do a ton of trading with some peep or two here so I can get a team ready to hatch from the get-go of the beginning of the game? I canNOT believe I'm asking FF this, but...

I predict that, from around here, nobody will want to trade away a munchlax/snorelax!

As for favorite pokemon: I do love Raichu too, and all the Poke-ducks are fun, but my favorite is probably Lapras. How not to love a pet whale that gives you rides (and that is also flexible and powerful!)?

I had a go at the card game back in 2000. I liked the purple cards, my goal was usually to get this angry-looking star-shaped fellow on the table as quickly as possible. Can't remember his name though.

Pretty sure your talking about Starmie.

I could never get into the card game, too complicated for me, i prefer Yu-Gi-Oh.

However i did like to collect them for the pics, some great artwork...

Tyranitar(every time I get one, someone overwrites my file)
Mawile
Gardevoir
Pigeot(my original heavy hitter, it died because my Yellow erased itself)
Umbreon (my favorite Eevee evolution)
Scizor (it's cool, what can I say)
My favorite attack is Hyper Beam.
Mawile and Gardevoir are my favorite females and Tyranitar is my favorite.

noooo

Mawile is the one and only (legendaries aside) pure steel pokemon, i love steel pokemon!

She is the perfect combination of cute and tough, take one look at her and she could melt your heart, take a second and she could bite your face off!

Ok well this thread just got me to break out my old fire red version to check out the team I ended the game with, and i have to say it just dominates

1. Articuno
2. Mewtwo
3. Charizard
4. Pidgeot
5. Dragonite
6. Whoever i was trying to level (at the time my jolteon)

i know it has some cheat pokemon in it, but it wins and thats what matters.

It's time to D-d-d-d-dd-dd-dd-Duel!!!!!!!!!

I hadn't played Yu-gi-oh! in ages until recently...they've changed the rules around quite a bit from a couple of years ago, kinda hard to win without those new-fangled white cards >,<
