In the last few days, I've played a couple of the newer Ticket to Ride boards (India and Asia -- the team play in Asia is totally intense), TransAmerica, and Belfort. I've also played Ticket to Ride, Dominion, and Carcassonne on-line.
I love board games, but have never before heard of Here I Stand. Sounds like it could be fun, though!
In the last few days, I've played a couple of the newer Ticket to Ride boards (India and Asia -- the team play in Asia is totally intense), TransAmerica, and Belfort. I've also played Ticket to Ride, Dominion, and Carcassonne on-line.
Ticket to Ride (USA) I actually have on my 360! TransAmerica is a bit simplistic for me, but fills 20 minutes while waiting for other people to turn up at a games day. Belfort and Dominion I don't know. Carcassonne I completely suck at because I have no visual-spacial awareness lol

Yes, it's good for that. Give them a taste to get them interested, and then we can wean them onto the hard stuff
