I have just come across this thread. Did I miss the big event?

Hi californiabay! No,you did not miss anything - I had too many things on my plate (*g* just realize that this has a literal meaning in this forum ;-) ) to follow up - does anyone else want to pick a date and location? Else I would go ahead and pick something for late Apr/early May , and we'd just see how many people show up and keep repeating these informal meetings on a monthly or so base!

I think a lunch is a great idea. I think a weekend would work best. I'm in the South Bay (San Jose, Santa Clara area) so not too familiar with the great eats in the SF area but with enough advance notice I'm there.
