Hey I was wondering what the free accounts include. I know photos are limited but in what way. Am i limits per day or are they gated until I pay? How many messages and blocks do I get?

As a free member you can enjoy all the non premium content on the site with a few viewing limit restrictions per day.

* Free videos - unlimited
* Free stories - unlimited
* Free pics - 25 views per rolling 24 hours
* Free messages - 5 per rolling 24 hours
* Blocking - up to 15 profiles

Haven't found this anywhere but are free accounts unable to reply to someone's status or photo once they reply?
I've seen others reply but I do not have that option just view reply.

Just wanted to touch on the blocking thing. Free accounts can have up to 15 profiles blocked. I find it a tad concerning that if a profile needs to block more than 15 people, they have to pay for it.

I am not entirely sure what you mean, so if you could give further information that would be great.

In regards to a users status or posts on their activity feed / shouts. You should be able to reply unlimited amount of times. The only instance for not being able to reply, would be if the user has blocked you.

Unless you believe your moderation team is capable of handling every and any additional potentially problematic member that may join this website, 15 blocks is staggeringly low.

With the constant harassment some members, especially content creators (where a good chunk of your finances come in via premium) face, increasing the amount of accounts a member can block would help them feel more safe and secure. Personally, I think it should be unlimited, but if a number has to be introduced it should be in the triple digits.

We're going to analyse the data to see how the blocks are being used and then make an assessment.

If it turns out that content creators are using a greater number of blocks as you suggest then we'll need to look into why this is happening, since there may be other ways of dealing with any issues. A site where everybody's blocking everybody else wouldn't be much fun, but then on the other hand increasing the block limit may be the right way to go.

However it ends up, we want to make data based decisions and not just knee-jerk reactions.

Whew, two cents: limiting blocking is probably a BAD pr decision at the least, bordering on being actively inhumane. And probably bad business in other ways, since people aren't likely to get a premium account just to block profiles that harass them, they'll just leave the site.

And if it's really community that you worried about, in addition to unlimited blocks keeping people here better, you could just implement a block renewal protocol of some kind, perhaps a list of profiles you've blocked or unblocked, with blocks expiring after a year and requiring renewal in the form of rechecking a box in that list. Or something.

Not sure about the blocking renewal thing. But I agree with everything else you're saying.
