Jared woke up to a loud knock on his door. He groggily got up, put on some shorts, and made his way to the door. When he opened the door, Ericka was standing there, holding a tray. He hadn't had time to process what had happened the night before, but she was already standing there with a plate of sugary breakfast foods.

“I didn't see you at the food hall, so I figured you had either overslept or you died of pleasure. Either way, I thought I'd check on you and bring you some food before they packed it up.” Ericka smiled.

Jared looked at his watch – 7am! He had to be clocked in by 7:15. “Shoot!” he squealed, “I fell asleep after you left last night and forgot to set an alarm. What do I do?” he panicked.

Ericka, unfazed by the panicked glances, calmly looked Jared in the eyes. “You have 15 mins, why don't you finish this plate?”

Jared knew eating all the food Ericka brought him would make him late, but it was like she had cast a hypnotic spell over him.

Instead of saying no, his mouth blurted out, “Only if you feed it to me!” Where had that come from? Certainly not from a conscious thought. His consciousness only screamed, GET READY FOR WORK, YOU'RE LATE!.

Before Jared could take back what he said, Ericka brought a handful of food to Jared's mouth. They were still in the doorway, and Jared froze as he obediently ate everything she brought to his mouth. What if someone saw him? What would they think? The thought of getting caught made him eat even faster. He was gulping down the food, barely able to gasp for breath. Ericka loaded his mouth as fast as she could, smirking the entire time with the greatest sense of power she had ever felt.

He had just finished the last bite when Matt, a friend Jared had met on his first flight to work, walked by. Jared was mortified. He was leaning on the doorway with his overstuffed gut in full view, pathetically catching his breath. Ericka had slid behind the door, out of Matt's sight.

“You ok, Jared? You look sick!” Matt worriedly walked over to Jared. Completely unaware to what had just happened, Matt put his hand on Jared's shoulder. “Maybe you should go to the doctor. I have to get to work, but let me know how you're feeling later.” The slightly pudgy coworker hurried off, as Ericka rose back up from behind the door.
