Chapter 3 - her new home

Nicole awoke groggily to an unfamiliar sight; A confined, bare-walled room with a strong smell of fast food drifting into her nostrils. She felt as if she should be panicked by the change in scenery since the night before, but at the moment she was too curious to realise the sinister nature of her situation

The room (or more accurately "cell") she found herself in was about 6 metres in all directions; A king-sized bed took up the majority of the space in the room. It was pushed against a wall with it's frame bolted in place to the ground. This is where Nicole had awoken. The wall which the bed was pushed up against had a small shelf extruding from it; this held a banquet of every type of greasy fast food imaginable, from burgers and hot dogs to pizzas and kebabs. The sight and smell of this already had Nicole salivating...

The ceiling was fitted with light bulbs such have off a warm, orange glow. The rest of the cell was empty, apart from the corner furthest from the bed; here stood a door, narrower than any Nicole had encountered before. Only around half the width of a normal door, she believed if she could get to it she'd have no problem fitting her svelte figure through it and out of this unusual place.

There was just one problem with this plan - Nicole was bound to the bed. Not in any way which could cause any discomfort. There was a thick rope attached tightly to an anklet around her calf. The length of the rope permitted her the freedom to walk around her cell, but she couldn't reach the door through which she could escape. Despite her efforts, the rope wasn't coming off; Nicole was going to be here for a while.

She relaxed onto the huge bed, which she discovered was wonderfully soft beneath her lithe body. She was beginning to get worried now, and anxious thoughts began running through her head...
"Why am I here? Who would do this to me? Where is Ryan? Does he know I'm here? How can I get out?"

Suddenly, what had appeared to Nicole to be a glossy black tile on the wall switched itself on. It was a television, currently displaying a message:
The remote is to your right. Enjoy

Nicole, startled by the new development, searched through the rows of greasy foods to find the remote that had been mentioned. While searching, the intoxicating smell of greasy, fatty foods overwhelmed her. She grabbed a few fries to tide her over while she thought out her predicament.
