Chapter 5 - the cycle

Nicole awoke to the same bare, unusual room she had the day before. Things were almost exactly the same as yesterday - The sodas were back, the TV was waiting for her to turn it on. The only thing different was the food; there seemed to be quite a lot more of it today. Nicole wasn't fazed by this, though. In fact, she was glad that she wouldn't run out of food today as she has yesterday. Nicole was ready for another day of eating and TV.

She sat up in her king-sized bed, but with more difficulty than she has the day before. Had she been more perceptive, and she wasn't still groggy from the sleeping pills still in her system, she might have noticed a small change in her body. A thin layer of fat had formed over her usually flat abdomen. It wasn't anything major, and Nicole didn't know that it was there. The only indication she had grown was the tiny amount of chub such hung over her waistband now.

Ryan was glad to see this change. His entire plan for Nicole relied on her giving herself up to hunger and laziness. You see, Ryan believed that if Nicole wasn't as slim figured as she was now, there would be nobody else who'd want her and she'd be all his. In order to track her progress, Ryan had set up a scale under the bed. This would allow him to find out her weight and its increase over the time she would be spending with him. In addition, whenever he entered her room to restock her shelf, he could see with his own eyes every pound of adipose forming on her beautiful body.

Nicole, at the point, was engrossed in a film she had found while searching through the many channels available to her. She was actually enjoying herself in this cramped cell, and the food was the main reason. Already she was halfway through the enormous amount of greasy, calorie ridden food left out for her, and already she was getting tired again. It felt as if she had only been awake a few hours. "Who knew eating and watching TV was so taxing?" Thought Nicole. Her belly was strained even more than it had been the night before and the weight of the food was pinning her to the bed; beside her sat only food packaging and empty soda bottles. By the end of the film, Nicole was in a deep, soothing sleep and there was no food left beside her. Soon after she fell asleep, in came Ryan...
