Hello Fantasy Feeder!

I've been meaning to make a blog, i miss the last one i did (although it was only for a girl, lol) Anyways, i figured, since I'm a Mod now and I got the access, y not?

Also, last time I had a blog, i used to only write in it when i was upset, or depressed etc, so i thought i should start this blog tonight cause i'm happy for once

I am happy because i did something today which I thought i would never do, I talked to the girl at work i like!

It was really random actually, like they say when u least expect it, and it didn't just fall into place, i actually made the effort and went over and talked to her.

We were both in the lunch room alone, i was just going to get something from the vending machine, most of the time i would have got it and walked out, avoiding eye contact then kicking myself for not doing anything, but today i just thought "stuff it" and turned around and said "enjoying the peace and quiet out here?"

LOL i know, not the smoothest opening line, but hey it worked, we spent the next 15 mins talking and even walked back to our desks together...

At the end of the day it doesn't mean anything, it was a small insignificant event, however for me it was a major hurdle which i overcame (i'm deathly shy) And wether it leads to something more, or just fades into another one time friendship as we move on with our lives, i feel so much more confident in myself knowing i was able to do it all on my own...

P.S. for anyone who asks, no shes not fat, this has got nothing to do with fat, i'll blog about fat another time, for the moment i'm still basking in the glory of my victory!

Awww Maximum, thankyou for sharing. That is sooo sweet and I am very proud of you and you should be very proud of yourself! Now that you know her, you can chat each time you see her, and at the very least its another work friend! But who knows what else might happen.. ;) i know how bad shyness can be, it is quite crippling, and I understand how much of an obstacle you overcame there.

Thnx Ruby, I am so proud, Last time I liked a girl it took me 6 years to make a move, so this is deffinetly an improvement! ^^

honey i am shy to but taken a lot of big steps. are they not the most powerful moments of your life. they make you feel alive and a bit stronger. congrats and i hope you have many more powerful moments

Yes it was defintely one of the most empowering moments of my life, as if the weight of the world left my shoulders, it wasn't about how she reacted, it was about me doing something i never thought i could do, and i'm so much happier for it :)
