I'd say Mexican food as well, but I'm not sure it's comfort food so much as that I just really, really love Mexican.

As for real comfort food, when the weather sucks and I've had a rough week... mac and cheese, Hamburger Helper, cheap cardboard pizza, tall stacks of sourdough toast dripping in butter - pretty much the things I loved as a kid.

Creamed Rice (like rice pudding in a can) just the perfect blend of filling rice with an easy to eat texture and nice and sweet and creamy... omg get in my belly

The best comfort food is a giant bowl of Mac 'n' Cheese with extra cheddar or colbyjack and butter.
