Has anyone an idea of how common this fetish is?

You hear about it extremely seldom in the media... I guess its partly because of the stigma of fat in the society.

From an evolutionary Point of view, I think it makes more sense to be predisposed to a feeding fetish than for example BDSM, a fetish which I´d say is far more accepted...

What do you think?

I'd say as long as we have the whole Fat is Bad thing in our culture we can't expect much more than to be demonized for encouraging weight gain.

That said though while feedism is kind of rare i think the attraction to BBW/BHM or at least plus sized is pretty common. most people don't really have an issue with someone dating fat unless you have a complete size mismatch.

Its all gradual I think. Getting aroused when feeding someone or being fed - thats a deviation of a "loving too much" kind. That just improbable to be widespread. I guess a lot more ppl just enjoy it more or less without sexualizing it and therefore cannot qualify it as a fetish
