Doesn’t happen so much with a ball belly like mine, but my wife says it surely involves an itch. Her lower belly itched a lot the last time she noticed a big jump on the scale :-)

You should absolutely flaunt it 👍 Many of us are unapologetically gaining by ourselves or with a partner and wouldn’t have it any other way 😁😉

I’m not quite there yet, but I suspect I’ll have to do what my wife has done in recent years — which is to shop a lot online and just cross fingers that the item runs big and not too small. One brand’s definition of anything bigger than a 2X can be quite different from another brand.

Wife and I are actively gaining with both of us sharing pics on here :-) Answering the ones I can remember:
Our weights: me about 215 and she about 360
Average calories a day: we don’t make note of the calories as much as pounds and inches, but I’d say about 10,000 calories each on a good day of eating
Pants sizes: me either a 40 or 42; she depending on the style and brand about. 5X to 6X. Her belly at its roundest point is 68 1/2 inches
Favorite foods: sketti with lots of cream sauce with heavy cream added to it; butter chicken over rice; chicken nachos bathed in cheese; multiple burgers at a time; each a tub of ice cream at a time
Exercise: walking just to keep the blood flowing but overall we’re fairly sedentary.

This morning, we made a huge pan of hash browns (the frozen kind worked fine), fried with onions. That was topped with a whole pound of turkey sausage, scrambled up with a little garlic and basil, a pound of grated cheddar cheese, and four fried eggs, still runny inside. I ate 95 percent of it, while he had a small plate.
Because I'm a fat fatty, I also had bread grilling in butter, a huge bowl of fruit, and a chocolate banana smoothie, of course, but we both agreed our hash brown concoction was delicious!
That sounds scrumptious 👍 Here at the house, we save our higher-calorie, belly-growing dishes for lunch and especially dinner. Ugh, were just not “morning people” enough to whip all that up so early, ha.

My ball belly is indeed your typical “guy’s belly,” a hard and hairy one. Got several versions of it pictured in my pics section 😁 I love stuffing it on weekends with some of mine and my wife’s kitchen creations 👍😁

When your face gets fat and your neck disappears. When I gotten fat as a child, I looked in the mirror I noticed I have a double chin.
I can relate. My face and neck have gotten bigger since I got past 200. My wife has been north of 300 for years now but really didn’t have a pronounced double chin until she got past 350. Her neck disappeared a good while back, though.

I was an only child but had/have a ton of cousins — and so I almost think of them the same way one normally thinks of siblings since we were all close growing up.
Long story short, a majority of us were fairly slim growing up but have put on a lot of weight in adulthood. Saw some of them at a gathering last year and it looks like all of us are fat or at the very least have beer guts now 😁
