Ah, don't worry too much. Like people have said, the stuff'll go in the bin anyway if it's not eaten, even if slightly over the date and perfectly edible. Sad state of affairs, really.

Come to think of it, Secret of Mana had a Sprite called Popoie who looked like a little girl but he was really a boy. Acted like a boy, though. Also ate an entire kitchen empty of food. XD
