Mike went home to an empty flat. He could not believe what he had done that weekend. He looked at himself in the mirror from various angles, without his shirt. When he pushed his belly out now, nothing happened. It had reached it's full capacity. He admired his tiny stretched belly, willed it to get bigger.
He even considered ordering a take out and stuffing himself yet again, but he was not hungry. Thoughts of even more food made him nauseous. He had to be patient. Jennifer seemed to know what she was doing. He pretended he was a whole lot bigger and waddled over to the sofa. Maybe he could tolerate a few glasses of empty calories later in the form of a double scotch.

During the week, Mike returned to his usual daily routine. At least, he tried to. Normally he would not eat between meals, he'd not feel hungry either. Coffee was enough to keep him going throughout the day. But for some reason, he felt hungrier than usual. A trip to the toilet meant a detour to the vending machine for a bar of chocolate. That bar of chocolate was not to save for later either, it was to eat now!
His meagre packed lunch, just was not enough to satisfy him and keep him satisfied until home time. He visited the canteen instead. He bought an extra sandwich, a bag of crisps.
Two days into the week, he was tempted to try the cooked dinner. That was filling and very satisfying. By the end of the week, he would eat a cooked meal at lunchtime and he was still hungry on his way home to eat his packed lunch as well... then eat a dinner later.
Every day, he checked his belly to see if he was any fatter. He was disappointed. He noticed some tiny silvery stretch marks on his sides though. That could only be a sign of his gluttony over the weekend.
He spent his evenings slouching around, expending as little energy as possible. He knew he had to increase his stomach capacity if he was going to get anywhere. He did his research and put his coffee away. He had tried adding sugar to his coffee to increase his calorie load, but he did not find it particularly palatable. He would now replace all the water and coffee that he drank with sweet fizzy drinks. 'Diet' style was no good. It was the full sugar version that was going to increase his calorie intake and fill his belly with fizz.
