Chapter 15 - afterword
I wrote 'Rhonda' three years ago, and it remains one of the best things I've ever written. Considering that I've published five books and I've got a short story coming out in an actual, proper magazine this winter, that's saying something.Unfortunately, when I wrote it, it was kind of a grammatical mess. That's to be expected, given that I write these things at least partially for my own enjoyment. They're not professional endeavours and I don't usually edit or proofread them. However, I had cause to revisit this tale and clean up as much of the spelling and grammar as possible tonight. I'm so glad I did. I'm sure I didn't get everything. However, if you've just read 'Rhonda' for the first time, the version you just read is much better than the one I uploaded years ago.
I'd almost forgotten how much I loved this story. Like most of my work, it's ridiculous and unrealistic and extreme... but it's also tender and very, very heartfelt. I think it's easy to forget that feedism is, well, cute. Not that I wish to boast, but I think 'Rhonda' shows off that more playful, intimate side to the fetish pretty well.
At some point, I also want to go back to 'The Baroness Ruelli' (the story I wrote after 'Rhonda') and sort out the innumerable spelling and syntax errors in that, too. That, however, will have to wait. Going through these things years after writing them is always a much bigger task than you'd think.
And yes, FF- you can take this as a sign that I'll probably upload something new in the next few weeks. I've been away from Fantasy Feeder for awhile, but I haven't been away from fat admiration, feedism or the community as a whole. I'm still just as invested as I've ever been. Now that I'm a more experienced writer and a more worldly feeder, I think it's about time I wrote something new. I've also got a few ideas that I think you FFers should enjoy.
The other thing I wanted to say (since these 'chapters' have to be at least 2000 characters long, even if they're just afterwords) is that, yes, all these stories still take place in a 'shared universe'. Rhonda's comparatively small, personal adventures in feederism take place in the same universe where an all-consuming alien woman named 'Beach' flattened most of London. The high-flying escapades of recurring-character Egress still take place in the same universe where a fat 17th-Century Baroness discovered the secrets of alchemy. Anything new that I write will also be part of this ludicrously ill-coordinated timeline. Why? Because I said so.
