Skinny jimmy

chapter 25

Jason planned to see Jason three times a week for his therapy. Some of it would take place in the community and some of it would be in Jason's office.
One of the first things Jason recommended was a new carer. It was one he knew well and could trust implicitly. Jim did not have to worry about the cost! The new carer would live in and would take the place of the dozens of others who were coming and going in the house. Her name was Yvonne. Jim would like her. He could be assured of that!

Jim's second appointment was a community one. Jason suggested meeting at the car park next to the station.
Jimmy was nervous. He didn't know what to expect. He arrived there half an hour early because he didn't want to be late. Luckily, he could perch himself on a little wall while he waited. It was a long time to be just standing around. Jim didn't know where they were going or what they would do. He was interested to know how a man nearly twice his size managed to get out and about without assistance.
His question was answered when exactly on time, a large maroon people carrier stopped directly in front if him with Jason at the wheel. The electric windows on the passenger side rolled down. The doctor leaned over to shout "get in! I'd come round to help you, but I have my own difficulties here!"
Jim opened the door and climbed up and in. Jason's bulk took over almost everything on the driver's side. His belly was rubbing up against the wheel and overflowing the seat. jim wondered how he even found the space to drive at all!
The doctor drove not far away. He said for Jim to get out of the car and wait for him.
Jimmy waited and watch as Jason levered his bulk out of the car, then closed and locked the door. It took a great deal of effort on his part. Jason's face was red and he was huffing and puffing as he made his way, around the car to where Jim was standing. Jason was too fat to walk normally. He didn't even waddle, he wobbled his way forwards, with the use of a stick.
"This is a very special place." Jason told him. "I rang on ahead, so they're expecting us... don't go running off too fast! I'm not built for speed!"
They were outside what looked like an ordinary pub, they were out in the countryside, surrounded by fields. Jason wobbled towards the door. He had parked very close to it, but even so by the time he got there, he was hot, sweaty and breathless. Jim followed meekly. He felt such a fraud in front of this man.
As soon as Jason was seen at the door he was greeted and fussed over until he was seated in a suitably reinforced chair with no arms. Jim was seated at a similar seat at a table opposite.
Jim wondered how this therapy was going to work. How could a man fatter than himself teach him how to live a healthier lifestyle?
"Relax jimmy! You're going to enjoy this!" He assured him. "They look after the likes of me and you very well here! They know what I want. I don't even have to look at the menu!"
He had no idea what to expect. They placed a giant plate of barbecued ribs on the table. They looked tasty! He thought, thinking they were for both of them to share. He was wrong because his plate was equally big and followed behind. He did not need to be told to tuck in. Indeed, he was oblivious to everything around him and was lost in the sweet, savoury, crunchy, chewy and greasy taste of the ribs. He didn't look up at Jason, who was also tucking in. They both had faces covered with the sauce, but did not care.
Jimmy eventually looked up when his plate was full of clean bones. He smiled in the first time in months and leaned back in his chair. Now that felt good! This was the kind of therapy he liked!
He looked over to Jason. He was still eating, but was nearly finished his plate too. Jim didn't like to disturb him, he was enjoying it as much as he had.
Almost as soon as he had finished, the waitress removed their plates and gave them a hot damp flannel to wipe their faces.
Jim thanked the doctor. He could feel the meal lay heavy in his stomach. But the ribs were just the starter! There followed a giant plate of steak and chips with vegetables. The steak was thick and juicy, there was plenty of gravy to go with it. Jimmy didn't think he could eat it. His stomach had shrank these last few months. Nevertheless he picked up his knife and fork. He was not going to deny himself a meal like this!
He slowed right down halfway through. After eating three quarters of it he had to give up. He was so full! He held onto his poor belly stretched and rounded in front on him. At one time, he would have been able to finish the entire plate with room to spare, just as the doctor was now. He watched the doctor with envy. He wished he could eat that way again. Maybe he could squeeze just one more mouthful in. He picked up his fork filled it with a morsel of meat and placed it in his mouth. He chewed and swallowed. Oh! It was too much! It was painful! Oh! It was blissful! Pain was so close to pleasure. Oh! Oh! Oh! He was not expecting to come in his pants but he was going to. He tried to hold onto it. He tried to appear normal, but he could not stop himself. He felt the warm liquid squirt out of him, leaving a damp patch in his trousers. He tried to hide his embarrassment. He wondered if even the doctor had noticed. He had even surprised himself!
Jason finished his food and looked up at Jim, leaning back in his chair with his hand on his full belly. He called over one of the waitresses. Could pudding wait for half an hour, while his friend relaxed for a while?
He was glad to see Jim looking like that. He knew the signs.
It was a shame he was going to have to wait for his dessert, but Jim would not be able to eat his right now. In half an hour, he would have been able to have digested some of the ribs, leaving a tiny space for his dessert.
And he was right. Jim tucked into his Bakewell tart and custard as if it was the first thing he'd eaten all day. It was an extremely large portion, but he was able to force every last spoonful into his mouth and into his gullet.
Jason could see the affects of the meal. His belly was big and rounded. His tee shirt had ridden up a tad, leaving a little gap of bare skin.
The effects of the meal on Jason were barely perceptible. His capacity was much greater than this... but he was the doctor, not the patient. He would no doubt stock up with doughnuts with he got back to the office. He alwYs had plenty of doughnuts there... in case of emergency and there were often emergencies there, of the food type.

I think the author might have been distracted from a nuisance phone call and lost their train of thought when writing.

Wow, Chapter 23 took a really fast, sudden, dark turn... Considering how methodically the previous parts were, this doesn't feel like the same story.
