Jim was disappointed he'd missed the games convention this year, but he really had not been well enough to attend...maybe next year... but he would do it his own way. No dressing up, no stall to run. He could immerse himself in his games and their accessories.
Funding his trip might be awkward. He didn't seem to have any spare cash these days. But if he had any, it was going directly into his convention kitty.

His missed his games and the gaming community. It wasn't so bad once he'd got the internet in. Yvonne had bought him a second hand laptop from somewhere.
He started designing his own scenarios for tabletop games. He designed extra cards for adventure board games that he'd played in the past. He could not afford his own website, but he gave one of his files to an online friend and they gave him a page on his website and published them there.
Jimmy followed with more adaptions, more expansions and more scenarios. They were all published on his page.
People liked what he was doing. His home made expansions were appreciated, but he did not earn any money from them.

Meanwhile, Yvonne kept him going, Jason kept him motivated. He had already reached his previously heaviest weight of twenty five stones. Now he was starting to grow even bigger, yet he had not been as confident since the day he was married!
He enjoyed his food, but he was no longer trying to get stuffed in the mornings and stay stuffed all day. He didn't have to rush about for work or anything.
He would have four large meals at home, breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper before bed. He would also have a midmorning snack and a midafternoon snack, but he did not graze in between.
Lunch with Jason was always a two hour extravaganza. Jason liked to make sure he was completely stuffed full after those meals, but he still could not match Jason's appetite.
He edged up to thirty stones at a steady, slow rate.
Yvonne took pictures of him. They tried to capture the feel of Mary's photographs, place him in the same or similar positions
