Chapter 7 - competitors

"You'll want to leave me!" Katy wailed, more clearly this time.

"What? No, I would never!" Gord replied. He scrambled to hold Katy closer. " I would never abandon you, or our kid. Wow. Our kid! This is... Wow."

"But you said you weren't ready..." Katy sniffed.

Gord stroked her back gently.

"Ready or not," he said. "This is gonna be awesome. Come on, let's get this mama to be something to keep her strength up. Remember, you're eating for two now."

Katy giggled and patted Gord's soft belly.

"As long as you keep ahead of me," she said.

They went out for breakfast to celebrate. Katy ordered a waffle with fruit and cream piled on top, while Gord munched his way through the lumberjack's special: three fried eggs, four slices of toast, ham, sausages, bacon, home fries, pancakes and orange juice. He wiped the last dab of ketchup off his plate and caught Katy looking at him, wide eyed.

"What?" Said Gord. "I have to keep up with you!"

Gord loved the way Katy's belly swelled as the months went by. His own was taut and full nearly as often. Katy had gotten softer all over, too, her face, ass and hips widening.
