chapter 5: familiar faces

Celestia burst open the door to her room and strut out into the hallway, lined with guards as always. She had worked herself up so much, and was so engrossed with her newfound fetish for gaining weight, that any inhibitions that might have made her gate awkward or her skin uncomfortable were nowhere to be seen or felt.

Celestia swayed her massive hips, finding a comfortable pace in which she practically threw the enormous sun marks on her flanks to each wall, and then caught and returned each tide of chub as it reached the limit of its own girth.
None of the stallions had ever seen a plot so thick and yet so smooth and firm. Violating every instruction they had ever been given by officers and trainers, some began to break formation and take steps forward to peak around their comrades.
With the seductive sway in motion, Celestia's belly swung between her legs, held in place only by her wings folded at its sides. Her improperly placed collar rubbed against her neck. But the whole time, Celestia's eyelids drooped downward, barely open. She cast seductive glances and head-nods to every guard she passed. Her chubbier cheeks were stuck in a crooked smile, caught somewhere between amusement, lust, and confidence.

Finally, Celestia stopped at the end of the hall and turned her chubby body around to face her royal guards. She found it irresistible to poke out her butt and shift her tummy with her wings.

"Now, now, I don't think I've ever seen any of you step away from that wall when I am still in the room."

The guards tried averting their eyes and kicking with their hooves to appear casual.

"Is something the matter?"

Uncomfortable groans and red cheeks spread through the ranks. Celestia walked up to one of the guards, a light blue Pegasus stallion with a silver mane and golden eyes, looking down into his eyes and adorning the perplexing smile.

"You, soldier. My collar has gotten so tight recently. Do you have any ideas why that might be?"

Celestia gestured to her neck, the pearl-white coat atop her skin budging slightly at the edges. The guard swallowed and squeaked out a response.

"N-....no, Princess."

"And it's funny, I could swear all the chairs in the castle have been getting more comfortable. Do you think someone changed the seat cushions without me knowing about it?"

Celesta gestured back to her hindquarters, flaunting her cutie mark and accentuating the thickness of her butt and thighs. The guard quivered while his comrades looked on, petrified, utterly baffled as to how to respond to the Princess' provocative behavior.

"No, Princess. Someone would have...informed you...had something...changed."

His voice shrunk while Celestia's smile widened. She leaned in closer, brushing up against his chest as he began to backpedal with his hindlegs. Presenting her side again and looking back, she said with a voice like silk:

"Have I gotten fat?"

Holding her belly in her wings, she gave her new girth a shake.

"Wha-...I-....Prince-..."< br>
The guard stammered, his face red and his composure cracking. Celestia's gaze intensified. And despite his panic, the guard finally picked up on its meaning: anticipation.

"Princess, you have gotten quite chubby."

All eyes in the room darted back and forth between the blue guard and the chubby princess towering over him, expecting something resembling anger, or panic, or denial. But Celestia responded with the same theatricality and tone as every question prior.

"Oh, is it that noticeable? I feel like my butt has been getting bigger these past few years. It's not too bad, is it?"

Celestia again turned her body around, presenting the stars of the show. As she had practiced, she bent down with her forelegs, stretching the flub at the top of her ass, making the chub that ran from her tail to her knees stretch out and become even smoother and even more sexy to the stunned onlookers.

Almost on cue, a unicorn guard with a dark brown coat and mane, fainted. The others hardly flinched as their mouths hung open. The blue stallion responded.

"It has only grown more beautiful, Princess."

Clearly having regained his confidence, the guard's tone assumed a hint of seduction, one that Celestia found ideal. Celestia ceased her little game and again swayed her hips as she walked towards the door to the dining hall.

With her hoof against the door, Celestia turned her head to lock eyes with the blue guard who had so stricken her fancy.

"It would seem one of your friends requires a bit of R&R. Be a dear and take him to my quarters to get some bed rest. Wait there until I finish my dinner. I will be with you shortly."

Leaving all else unsaid, Celestia trotted into the dining hall and pulled out a chair at the far end. Knowing sitting down would take a bit more concentration than usual, she carefully leaned back, the seat disappearing from her view as her butt obstructed her vision. She finally plopped down. Her thighs, pressed up against the chair, widened. The width of Celestia's ass just barely exceeded the width of the chair. And as she propped her upper body against its back, her belly still protruded outwards, just beginning to rest atop her inner thigh. Her belly button was deep, caught within the swelling, jiggly mass that grumbled for its meal.

Chuckling to herself, Celestia said to no one in particular:

"I'm not so sure. It sure feels like an awful lot of extra cushion."

Celestia popped a cupcake in her mouth and chewed absentmindedly. She was prepared to return to the hypnotic trance until a familiar voice wretched the chubby Princess back to reality.

"Sister? Is that you?"
