chapter 3

This went on for the following weeks as Sarah just kept getting more and more tired and John worked long hours at work and it was definitely taking a toll on Sarah's waistline. She had also developed major cravings for cake, especially chocolate cake and ice cream. On good days, she could eat an entire cake on her own. Of course she tried to hide that habit from John so after he left for work in the morning she would go to a grocery store or a bakery to buy one or two with two tubs of ice cream. She also loved to stop at McDonald's drive through to order her favorite: Big mac's and chicken nuggets. Her stomach always felt full and she loved when she felt so stuffed she could barely breathe and felt ready to explode.

During the day she mostly consumed fast food and then ate one large dinner with John. He didn't understand how she could be gaining that much weight at that rate, but to him as long as Sarah was happy he was fine with it. He also didn't mind all her new curves he had to play with.

At 20 weeks, she was more than round as her belly was bigger than than some pregnant ladies ready to give birth. Today, she was going to an ultrasound to make sure the baby was alright while John was at work. Just driving now, her midsection was pressed up on the steering wheel and getting out was getting harder.

In the waiting room, Sarah looked at the chairs but she knew she would never fit, so she chose to sit on the small couch, taking more than half of it.

"Sarah room 12." heard the pregnant blonde.

She waddled her way to the examination room and sat down. The nurse applied gel to her bump for the ultrasound. Sarah was holding her breath waiting for the verdict.

"Well it looks like you have perfectly healthy babies!" announced the nurse.

"Babies?" almost yelled the blonde who was not ready for that news.

"Looking at the size of your belly at 20 weeks, it is not surprising since it is much larger than usual. I can count seven babies in there. Which is quite rare and can be risky, but your tests are incredibly normal for that many babies, which is a good thing." said the nurse.

"Wow, I can't believe it, my husband won't believe it either. But it would explain why I feel hungry 24/7!" said the blonde laughing.

"Yes I encourage you to eat pretty much as many calories as possible since the all those babies need food, it is quite important. You also need to rest a lot to not burn those calories off. Now I'd like to check up on your weight to be able to monitor it, as we don't want you to lose any weight." said the nurse while taking notes.

Sarah walked up on the scale and it took a few seconds for the scale to read 306 pounds. It shocked the blonde a bit as she had not weighted herself in over a year when she was about 160 pounds. She reasoned with herself that the babies were heavy in her belly and couldn't restrict her diet now.

As soon as she walked out the appointment and was in her car, she called John to tell him the news. He was over the moon and couldn't believe he was going to be the dad of 7 babies, which even though was a lot of kids, he wasn't worried about.

Sarah stopped at Pizza hut and McDonald's on the way home and spent over a 100$ for lunch at the drive through to celebrate.
