Chapter 2: The First Date

As the week progressed, Nia found herself eagerly anticipating her date with Mark. Her work, however, demanded her attention, and she found herself swamped with tasks and deadlines. In the midst of the chaos, her workouts fell by the wayside, and she began to indulge in comforting snacks to keep her energy up.

She nibbled on chocolate, savoring the velvety sweetness as it melted on her tongue. Nia nodded, her cheeks flushed with color. "Yes, it's delicious, but I've been indulging quite a bit this week. I guess my body isn't used to it."

Mark leaned in, his eyes locking with hers. "It's okay to treat yourself sometimes, Nia. Enjoy the moment. We'll find a way to work it off together, remember?"

Her heart warmed at his words, and she smiled, feeling a surge of affection for him. "Thank you, Mark. That means a lot to me."
