chapter 2 -

The next morning Abbie awoke feeling bloated. "I don't believe, I've ever eaten so much in one sitting". Abbie said to herself. Strenuously she gets up off the couch and walking towards her kitchen, noticing a by the door under the mail slot was a pile of mail.
"Probably all bills and junk mail" sighing to herself. Starting to pick up the mail she discovers a small box. Opening the box and she finds it's full of chocolates. Licking her lips at the sight, she picks up the box and meanders backs to the couch. Plopping down on the cushion she sees a note is attached.
"Abbie, these are for you my gorgeous girl, I hope you like them, Daniel x"
She thinks to herself, "I can get used to being spoiled if this keeps up." Opening the box, she reads the nutritional information. Performing a quick calculation, she estimated the whole box contains roughly 6000 calories worth of chocolates. She decides to try one. "It won't hurt to eat just one," she decided.
She turned on her television and popped one of the sweet desert in her mouth. The chocolate melted in her mouth and the taste was amazing, she grabbed a second one and then a third. She absents mindedly continues devouring chocolates until the box was quarter empty. Realizing how late in the day it was getting, she wiped her mouth and noticed the carnage she had inflicted on the chocolate box contents.
Giggling to herself, "On second thought, if Daniel keeps this up I will get as fat as a house." She looks at the decimated box of chocolates one more time and bit of shame rushes over her. "I will need to get to the gym this weekend, but it will have to wait. Tonight, I get to be with Daniel again."
Deciding to start her day normally, she starts off with a light breakfast which contains her regular cereal and banana, she then goes to finish getting ready. All the while looking forward to her night at Daniels.
Around lunch time, Abbie heard a knock on the apartment door. Opening slowly, she noticed a gentleman with what appeared to be a large lunchbox.
"Hi, are you Abbie?" the man asked.
Hesitantly, Abbie answered yes.
"I have a delivery from Grubhub, for you." The man stated.
Trying not to sound rude. Abbie exclaimed, "I'm sorry, but there must be some mistake. I didn't order anything!"
The man smiled and handed her the plastic bag anyways. "That's okay miss, the foods been bought and paid for and with instructions to deliver to this apartment and to you!" Shutting the door, Abbie had no idea who it was from and the thought of it coming from Daniel never crossed her mind, who would order this much food. "Maybe this is some practical joke from my friends, they always say I should eat more." Abbie muses to herself and is curious to see the content of the bag. Laying out the contents of the bag she was surprised to find 4 cheese burgers, 2 fries, and a few hot pies.
At first, she stared at it all and started laughing. "I can't believe the girls would send me such fattening food." She was about to wrap up the contents and toss them in the trash, when she felt an unfamiliar sensation of being hungry. "Wow, I guess I'm hungrier than I thought!"
Abbie picked up one of the burgers and looked at it, "I'm sure one won't hurt. Biting into the burger, she instantly loses herself in the flavor. "Whoa, that tastes amazing! I think a beer will go great with this burger." Walking towards the fridge she pulls out her favorite beer and saunters back to the kitchen table. She finishes off the first burger and found that she was still hungry. "Well one more won't hurt and maybe some fries." Abbie collects her meal and makes way to the couch again. She sits down and starts the television.
2 hours later Abbie had found that she had consumed each burger and order of fries. "What is wrong with me today." She looked at the empty wrappings and containers, she felt ashamed once again. Her appetite has won out once again. She looked at her cell phone and noticed the time. "I need to get ready for tonight."
