Out of the moonlight

Chapter 61 - the women of their dreams: part 7

137.
By the time she was halfway through her third, oversized pie, Annie's tummy was aching something fierce. Though she would happily snack at all hours of the day, she'd never binged like this before. She'd never gone out of her way to fill herself up with as much food as she could hold. She wasn't used to this fullness, to the sensation as all that she'd eaten pressed against the walls of her stomach. Her strained skin was stinging and throbbing so hard that she feared it might rip at any second. How had she ever let Lettie talk her into this?

"You're doing great sweetie," came the golden-haired girl's voice from beside her on the bench where the two were seated. "Just keep eating, you're already halfway there."

Annie could feel her friend's arm around her pillowy shoulders, her slender fingers gently rubbing, and ever so slightly squeezing, her soft flesh. She didn't bother to turn her head to look at her, instead, she did as the girl had told her and kept on eating - crumbs rolling down her cheeks as she sluggishly chewed her way through yet another spoonful of the delicious thing. At this point, the taste did nothing for her. She'd already eaten so much, and her stomach was already so full that she could hardly bring herself to notice it. She wasn't even trying to enjoy her food anymore; she was just packing as much of it as she possibly could into her already strained stomach.

Over the last few minutes, a small crowd had gathered around the pie stand, drawn in by the spectacle of watching one of the town-fatties really stuff her face. Though she was only too aware of their presence as they stood there gawping at her, Annie did her best to ignore them. She tried as best she could to forget everything and focus only on her food.

Having finished the third pie, Annie let out a groan as the fourth was placed before her. Her stomach hurt so bad, but she wasn't about to stop now. Though she knew it was probably a bad idea to keep eating, she didn't want to let Lettie - or, strangely, her ogling audience - down.

Looking sheepishly around her, Annie opened her pants and let her belly spread across her lap. She pulled up her shirt and started, gently, to rub her stuffed gut with one hand while the other continued to shovel spoonful after spoonful of pie in her face. She knew this didn't exactly make for a dignified sight, but at this point, it was a little too late for her to be worrying about that. It'd been a long time since she'd last had any sort of image to maintain. Now, she might as well just let everybody see her for the out-of-control pig they all knew she was.

Strangely, as she sat there, stuffing her face and groaning with discomfort with every bite she took, Annie found the thought a relief more than anything else. Perhaps, deep down, she'd always known that this was her true nature. She'd spent years hiding from it, pretending to be someone she wasn't. But, in the end, it'd all been for naught. Now, she knew, she was never going to amount to anything other than a useless fatty. For the rest of her life, people were going to tease her and laugh at her because of her weight. Nobody would ever respect her or find her beautiful in the same way they did Lettie, but that didn't matter, not as long as she had her food.

By the time she was nearing the end of her fourth pie, Annie's pace had slowed to a crawl. Her stomach was so terribly full. Beads of sweat ran down her face, her breathing had gotten so heavy. Perhaps she'd had all that she could take? No matter how much of a glutton she might be, she still had her limits.

Just as she was about to put her spoon down, Annie felt Lettie squeeze her soft shoulder-flab. For the first time since she'd started on her challenge, she turned to look at her friend.

"Come on, sweetie," the golden-haired girl whispered in her ear, "you're so close. I know you can do it. Let's show these people what you're really made of."

"But I'm so full," Annie whined under her breath just as a huge burp escaped from between her lips.

"Just one more to go," said Lettie. "Just a little more, and then you'll be done. You can take just a little more, can't you?"

Sitting there beside her, with her long hair blowing around her slender frame, Lettie really was so painfully beautiful. Though her face was set in her usual, mischievous little smile, her big blue eyes were so wide and sincere as she encouraged her to keep going. Annie just couldn't bring herself to say no to her. With a deep breath, she picked up her spoon and continued to eat.

Once she'd finished every last crumb of her final pie, Annie was so terribly stuffed. She'd eaten to the point where her belly had gone numb. Her gaze was glassy and dull, her mouth hung half open as, dozily rubbing her bloated belly, she leaned against her friend's slight shoulder.

"Oh sweetie," Lettie giggled, running a hand through her chestnut hair. "You're such a pig."

"Yeah," Annie nodded, letting out a drowsy groan, "I know."

As it became clear that Annie'd had all she could take, the crowd gathered around her started to disperse. But, just as they were all about to head off in their separate directions, they stopped. A new figure, one even more overfed than Annie, was approaching the pie stand. As they all turned to look, they saw the once so very slim and pretty young redhead from the bakery waddling awkwardly towards them, her grossly obese body rippling and shaking with every step she took.

The first thing Faye noticed as Niall led her towards the pie stand was the scent that emanated from it. As the aroma of all those delicious baked goods wafted into her nostrils, she let out a satisfied sigh. Her mouth watered and she picked up her pace as much as her aching, overburdened feet would allow. Then, she saw all the people gathered there.

Suddenly, the fiery-haired girl froze in her tracks. She clung a little closer to her tall, lean rake of a boyfriend - her broad, bulbous body looking comically large next to his narrow, yet towering frame. Her humiliation at the dance floor, only an hour ago, was still all too clear in her mind. She had no wish to make a spectacle of herself two times in one day, but all those pies smelled so very good.

"Are you alright?" asked Niall, one eyebrow raised as he looked down at his round, dumpy ball of a girlfriend. "Do you want to go somewhere else instead?"

Faye hesitated and then, finally, shook her head.

"No, it's all right, the pies here smell delicious."

"Alright then," said Niall and led his girlfriend through the crowd. "Now, remember, you've got to eat more than five, or this might cost me a bit."

"Trust me," Faye grinned impishly, "that won't be a problem."

Upon approaching the pie stand, Niall found Annie and Lettie on a bench beside it. The chestnut-haired girl was leaned against her golden-haired friend's shoulder, her eyes half shut and her mouth half open as she rubbed her tightly packed ball of a belly. She hardly seemed to notice as Faye placed her broad bottom beside her on that sturdy bench. Lettie, on the other hand, grinned ever so slightly as Niall sat down beside his girlfriend.

"I guess great minds think alike, huh?" she said.

"Yeah, I guess," answered Niall. "She sure looks like she's been enjoying her food," he added, taking in the sight of Annie in all her blubbery glory. The chestnut-haired girl's chest was covered in crumbs, her chin smeared with streaks of custard. Though she'd been stuffing her face with abandon for nearly a year now, Niall had never seen her pig out quite like this before.

"Oh, trust me," Lettie grinned, "she has."

"Well," said Niall, smiling ever so slightly as he leaned in closer towards her, "as far as gluttony goes, you ain't seen nothing yet."

The crowd, which had been about to disperse, had reformed, more enthusiastic than ever about the spectacle that would soon play out before them. The already chubby Annie might've put on a fair bit of weight over the past year, but she hadn't blown up even half as impressively as Faye. As the fiery-haired girl's pies were placed before her, the people that'd gathered to watch waited excitedly to see just how much one would have to eat to build a body like hers.

Faye, for her part, had already forgotten all about her audience. Now that she had her food, it was all that she could think of. As she took her first bite, the rest of the world seemed to fade from her mind. Eating was all that mattered to her now.

Thanks for your comments, Anneke, Kipler, and sorry that it's been so long between updates. I've been really busy these past few months, and thus I haven't really had the time for all the planning this story requires.

And yeah, Lettie and Annie do make for an enjoyable couple, don’t they? Needless to say, there’s a fair chance that something more will happen there, eventually.

Thanks Kipler, I’m glad you’re enjoying the story, and flattered that you’ve gone to such lengths to leave a comment. It’s a challenging piece to write sometimes, I’m not sure every chapter has quite worked out, but, overall, I’m very pleased with it.
