Anniversary dinner

Chapter 3 - soup

Kimberly's nails clicked against the empty tray as she reached for another spear, making her turn her gaze to the table. "Goodness, you ate them all already. Were they good, my love?" She smirked at him as she moved the tray aside and reached for a covered pot. Her other hand continued it's gentle stroking of her husbands chest and belly, occasionally dragging her nails slowly across the fabric.

As Dennis swallowed the last bite of asparagus, he licked his lips and stared curiously at the pot. The appetizer had not been quite as filling as he had feared, but there were still a lot of dishes on the table and he didn't believe his stomach would have room for all of them.

"I suppose it's time for the soup course." Kimberly said cheerfully, lifting the lid and allowing another puff of scented steam to escape into the room. "I found this recipe in one of mom's old cook books. It's called chicken velvet." Reaching for the ladle, Kimberly scooped up a generous portion of the soup and lifted it high enough for her husband to see it before she poured it slowly back into the pot.

"It smells delicious." Dennis replied, his mouth beginning to fill with saliva. His wife had always been an excellent cook, and the soup did not look like it would be an exception.

"I got a little creative with it, of course." Kimberly said as she brought over a bowl and filled it with the soup before covering the pot again. "Open wide, big boy." She ordered with a giggle, grabbing a spoon.

Eagerly Dennis did as he was asked, making an obligatory "Aaaahhhh" sound as he did so. He began to feel a stirring below his gut as he watched his wife lift the spoonful of soup to her pursed lips and lightly blow, causing faint ripples to spread across the surface of the cream-colored liquid. When it was deemed cool enough not to burn his mouth, the spoon began to travel in his direction, and Dennis tilted his chin forward eagerly.

The warm metal of the spoon touched his tongue first, then he felt the trickle of the soup as she poured it directly onto his taste buds. "Mmmmm." Dennis moaned, closing his mouth to savor his first taste of chicken velvet soup.

True to its name, the creamy soup had a soft, velvety texture in his mouth. Finding a small cube of potato, he used his tongue to mash it against the roof of his mouth before finally swallowing and opening his mouth hungrily for the next spoonful.

"Oh, you really liked that, didn't you." Kimberly remarked with pleasure. Her fingers clutched at his shirt, sending pleasant tingles radiating through his core.

Dennis decided that he did like it. Not only the food, which he was enjoying, but also being captive to his wife's feeding of him. Another spoonful, this one with a chunk of carrot and chicken, elicited another moan of ecstasy. Tilting back his head and closing his eyes, Dennis felt as if he could just melt as easily as the delicious soup.

"Open up." Kimberly ordered, drizzling another spoonful, this time with a slice of mushroom, into his open mouth.

"More!" Dennis begged, his excitement growing along with his appetite.
"Now that's what I like to hear." Kimberly replied happily. She began to bunch his shirt up in her fingers as she fed him spoonful after spoonful of the creamy soup, sometimes brushing the spoon across the tip of his tongue or his bottom lip before retreating. As her thumb slipped under the crumpled cotton to stroke his skin, she poured the last of the soup onto his outstretched tongue, then flipped the spoon upside down and held it in front of his face. "Lick it." She ordered. "And lick it clean."
Swallowing the last mouthful of soup, Dennis eagerly stretched out his tongue to lap at the spoon, trying to pull it into his mouth despite his wife's playful resistance. The feel of her touch across his bare skin was distracting in a pleasant way, increasing his stirrings. "That was amazing, dear." He said with a heavy breath, readjusting himself on the chair to accommodate his full stomach. "I think I have just enough room for a little desert."

Kimberly smirked and patted his mouth lightly with the corner of a napkin. "Well, that's too bad then isn't it. Because it's not time for desert, it's time for salad."
