Chapter 3 - friends grow too

When Cynthia awoke the morning after her Thanksgiving feast, she checked her phone to find Sarah had called her 12 times. She listened to the message that she left and it said that she was waiting for the chicken. She called Sarah back. Sarah picked up immediately and went of on a tangent. Cynthia barely had any idea what she was saying but she got one clear message from the rambling: Sarah was mad and did not want to hang out anymore. Cynthia hung up because she was in a state of confusion and sadness in one. She then looked at the time and saw that she had 15 minutes to get to work. She threw on her clothes from her feast the night before and left as fast as she could. Her going as fast as she could was not the same as it was 6 months prior. Her belly and but moved with each step. Her breasts bounced uncomfortably. She got to work 5 minutes late. She walked in drenched in sweat and her shirt had ridden up, exposing her soft belly. She was unaware of this exposure and continued to walk normally. She sat down on her chair and her belly was sitting on her lap. It was then that she realized the severity of her weight gain. When she had started, she had a completely flat tummy with signs of fat anywhere. Now she sat with a soft layer of fat covering her entire body. While she was disappointed in herself for letting herself go the way she did, she had never felt happier. She was truly enjoying life. She looked up and put on a small grin as she reached over and grabbed a piece of chicken.
Later that day, Sarah's mom walked into the store. Cynthia assumed it was a case of using Sarah's mom as the messenger for her messages. She was surprised when she instead walked up to the counter and ordered 2 family sized boxes of chicken. When Cynthia handed over the food, Sarah's mom looked at her closely and said, "Aren't you Sarah's friend?"
"Not entirely" replied Cynthia as she looked down.
"Well I've seen you around. My little girl just wanted a little something to eat!" Sarah's mom said joyfully.
"Ok well I'll see you around" said Cynthia as Sarah's mom walked out of the building.
Cynthia realized that since she wasn't going to be able to bring food to Sarah, Sarah was having her mom bring her food for her instead. She sat and ate more of the food in front of her while she pondered how their friendship would continue.
This same pattern of Sarah's mom coming into the store continued but two boxes of chicken eventually became 3, then 4. It was about 3 months later when Cynthia was leaving work when her phone rang. It was from Sarah. She picked up the phone and assumed that is was going to be some sort of apology for whatever she said on the indecipherable phone call but she was very soft spoken and shy in the way she spoke.
"I... I need your help. Can you come over?" said Cynthia.
"Yeah, sure, I'll be there in a minute."
Cynthia knocked on the door and all she heard from inside was "It's unlocked!" The house was an absolute mess of food containers and wrappers. She walked through the living room which was disgusting with food stains everywhere. She walked into the dining room where she saw the back of Sarah's head and the rest of her body covered in a blanket. The table had 5 or 6 pizza boxes and 3 large bottles of soda with other random little snacks. Still amazed at the filth, Cynthia sits down at the chair across from Sarah.
Peering over the empty pizza boxes, Cynthia asks "What do you need?"
"I'm a little stuck" replied Sarah without making eye contact.
"Shoot, what happened. Are your hurt? What's sticking you to the chair? Did your brother put glue on it or something?" asked Cynthia with concern.
"Uh... chair's too small" said Sarah, still avoiding eye contact.
"What?" said Cynthia in confusion.
"Or I guess I'm too big" said Sarah as she looked up.
Sarah dropped the blanket slowly. As it fell, more of Sarah was revealed, and there was a lot more of her than Cynthia remembered. Her belly could have been a table of it's own and her butt was bulging out from under the armrests.
"I'm stuck" was all she said.
Cynthia just looked at Sarah sitting in the chair, unable to move and absolutely giant. Her belly was to her mid thighs but still firm. Her breasts were resting on top of her belly. Her hips and legs had taken the most growth. Over her entire body were stretch marks from her rapid growth. It was very apparent that her metabolism was very slow and there was no going back for her.
"Stop staring and help me!" yelled Sarah
"Oh right for sure" said Cynthia, escaping her trance.
"I don't know how it happened."
"I think I know how it happened."
"I haven't even put on that much weight. Well, I don't think so. I haven't seen a scale or a mirror in months. They're all upstairs."
"How did you get yourself into the chair in the first place?"
"I'll tell you in a bit. Please help me."
Cynthia tried to tip the chair back slowly to set in on the ground but her friend's expansion caused the chair to fall down rapidly. Cynthia looked for butter to try to slip Sarah out of the chair but Sarah had eaten it all. There was no oil because it was all used for cooking. When Sarah moved to look at Cynthia, the wooden chair snapped. The armrests were still held together but it showed that the only way to get her out would be to break her out. They tugged at the wood until finally one armrest broke and the rest of Sarah's belly shot out. Cynthia helped Sarah walk back to the couch and they sat. They both sat and ate chips while Sarah caught her breath.
"So my parents left for a trip two weeks ago and they said I could do whatever I wanted. I decided to spend all of my time eating and relaxing. I told them I was hanging out with my friends and going places just so they wouldn't limit my money. I ordered enough pizza for a party everyday with soda and the say they left I spent $200 on snacks at the grocery store. I sat down at noon yesterday at the table to eat. I managed to squeeze myself into the chair with some difficulty but it was manageable. I ate all of my pizza, drank all of my soda. Basically I consumed everything that I could reach. Then I slept. I woke up and ate anything I missed yesterday. I was going to watch TV but when I tried to stand up, I was too heavy and my ass was too fat. Then I called you. And now we're here" said Sarah in a self-conscious way.
"When do your parents get back?" asked Cynthia.
"Two weeks."
"Alright so you should probably clean this up before you can't see the floor anymore."
"I need to walk so much though. Could you help?"
"Fine. In a little bit."
"Also, I had an idea."
Sarah pulled out a piece of paper with some designs on it. It looked like a fancy toilet. Sarah then explained that it's a design for a chair that wouldn't require any movement. It was essentially an extra comfortable toilet with a table.
"I just wanna ask two things from you. Can you help me build it and bring me the food?"
