I've seen it constantly "i don't do meet ups" "I'll meet after we do some online stuff". Why go out on a date but not a date/ do something with this kink?
I personally don't do any online stuff because of scammers.

i would imagine it's pretty similar to not wanting to be physically intimate too soon. they probably want to form an emotional connection and see how you would work on that level before delving into the kink and any possible sexual relations
Got it in one. It's a form of screening. Always check the vibe before you engage in kink shenanigans. Sometimes, people are incompatible. Sometimes, people need to be on a watchlist.
I'm assuming you are talking about women. We have to be extremely cautious. The worst you are worried about is getting scammed. The worst we have to worry about is getting stalked, raped, and/or murdered.
