With me, slow and steady weight gains is better than binging. The best that I have done so far is 12 pounds in 6 months. I need to add more daily calories..!
Last year, Jan 2023 to end of June 2023 saw me go from ... 170 pounds to... 200 pounds.. then 205 in the first week of July. Solid 30 pounds in 6 months.
Several years ago during a difficult overeating/ binging spell my Dr said I had gained almost 30 lbs between visits which are usually every 6 months. Keep in mind I am not an active "gainer".

I think most folks on this forum, including me, would be mighty impressed with 30 lbs in 6 months. How about you - did you enjoy the end result, honestly?
During my first year of intentionally gaining weight I gained about 45 lbs between the summer of 2020 to the summer of 2021. But that was mostly lean muscle mass because I was very skinny and I was a high school freshman during the pandemic so I put on muscle mass quickly. Since then I've averaged around 20 lbs gained per year, but my body is weird so the speed and amount of weight I gain fluctuates a lot
