My gf has had issues along these lines, but I'm not sure if that's safety guidelines or a skinny being bitchy.
I've actually got mine pierced so if there's any problems with it along the way I'll post here!

Got a good point about the double belly, and how it'd be totally covered! I never thought of that.
Do you know of any piercings that are known to cause problems when gaining, or should at least ve more aware of than usual?

I heard an interesting theory about this, and although I haven't seen any evidence for it either way, it makes sense to me based on what I've observed. Basically, whether you develop rolls or not has more to do with how you dress. If you wear pants with a tight waist band, the fat will be somewhat restricted and will try to grow around it, forming rolls.
