Denmark introduces fat tax

Around 62% of the price of fuel and 83% of a packet of cigarettes is tax in the UK does not seem to have much effect on the consumption of either of those and unlikely a fat tax would either. It really is nothing more than a way for a government to increase its revenues and has very little to do with the reasoning they give for its introduction.

Cannot see people stopping putting butter on there toast or having the lovely Danish bacon they produce.

Denmark Introduces ‘Fat Tax’ on Foods High in Saturated Fat

good!
it seems that soon, to be fat and be able to afford it, will become matter of 'prestige'.
(like they know how to appreciate fat women in some cultures in Africa.)

/this is a sarcastic joke, offc., pointing on absurd of that sort discriminatory measures. /

if I want to eat fat, that's my f****** choice. and it shouldn't be less affordable because of selective, and therefore elitaire, taxes.

I wonder who invented that...

(some sexualy frustrated politician, who's bony wife doesnt have much to hold on, I guess)

Butter makes very good point itself.

I mean - try putting not saturated fats on your bread, haha... smiley

and if somebody tries to convince me that margarine, and all those artificial butters that are on market today, are more healthy than the natural butter.....the hack with it!
