Fabrice muamba

Such a shame, he's so young, really hope he pulls through. Thoughts with his family.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but thoughts also with Liam Kelly of Kilmarnock, whose father suffered a heart attack after watching Kilmarnock beat Celtic to win the Scottish League Cup today and sadly passed away. An awful weekend for football, but one that has brought fans from all walks of life together.

Fabrice muamba

Lauren I was just reading about Liam Kelly earlier today, so sad.

Watching the Spurs game on Saturday was heartbreaking, luckily the story seems to be heading for a much ahppier ending.

This article says he was clinically dead for over 80 minutes, but is now alert and talking.

"Two hours after [regaining consciousness] I whispered in his ear, 'What's your name?' and he said, 'Fabrice Muamba'. I said, 'I hear you're a really good footballer' and he said, 'I try'. I had a tear in my eye."
