Gaining

Blood pressure & weight gain?

I had a high BP, I think it topped off at 145/95. Not health-threatening, but an indicator theretofore. I have gained (unintentionally!) from 150 while at uni to 230 now, and I have a sedentary lifestyle apart from cricket in the summer.
Last year my doctor put me on Rampiril. I don't feel any different, but the effects have been dramatic - I usually test at about 105/55. Sometimes I;ll forget to take a pill, and there are no ill effects from that - in fact the last time I tested I hadn't had a pill that day so it obviously takes time off the drugs to get back to a high BP.

Bottom line? The Drugs Do Work. smiley Obviously I don't want to end up dependent on them, but I'm on the lowest dosage, and it's taken me from borderline high to perfect (most 'healthy' people are higher than me!)
