I have noticed this many times...exactly what you said!
I call it the two week change......I can be eating like a pig, somewhat unhealthy, sweets, many cokes and am surprised how I don't gain any weight. All of a sudden at the two week point even though I am not eating as much and even healthier notice all the gain. Usually around 8-10 Lbs. I cant button my shorts or slacks, my belly sticks way out and I cant suck in and that two week eating all of a sudden showed up in a big way on my body.
Crazy thing is this same two week window seems to apply with me while working out. I can be cutting way back and working out insanely and nothing changes.....all of a sudden two weeks later I notice the changes. Although losing 10 Lbs. is much longer than gaining those same 10 lbs.
