Anyone else binging through the 12 day Simpson's marathon? These old episodes are amazing.

I'm not watching the FXX thing myself, but the first ten or so seasons are incredible. I never seen to get tired of them. I read that with that marathon, the episodes have been cropped from their original aspect ratio to fit widescreen tv. Apparently when they cropped it a lot of visual jokes have been lost? Is that accurate?

I couldn't say if anythings been lost in the cropping, I was too young when the early episodes were first on to compare. But watching them now ... Homer vs. H.W. Bush ... lol.
