Story authors

I was thinking of writing a story for some time, but it is about a real person... I do not know them but have seen them around, it is just a story about a guy getting very fat, though it is sort of true too! I do not know whether to go ahead with it or not...

I'd say as long as you stay away from personal details and fictionalize it there isn't an issue. Basing things off real life isn't uncommon, it just doesn't get mentioned very often. Something had to inspire stories.

Do it...simply "change the names to protect the innocent"

Yeahh I'll create fictional names... It will be based on something real, but I will add my own fiction to it too! This is exciting!
