Why not let the two sides of yourself struggle against each other until one wins: Come home at night and stuff yourself until you can't move. Then go pound it in the gym the next day and try to work it all off. Go home and stuff again. Eventually one side will win. You'll either stay thin, get super buff with nice muscle mass from all that working out and eating, or eventually get hopelessly fat. Just embrace the struggle at let your body decide for you.
