The staples Driscott big and tall is really wide - and can be assembled without arms. It often goes on sale for around $200 and is super sturdy. It’s not, however, for short people.
There is also a bodybuilt big and tall chair and a steelcase criterion plus (I have one of these) that are quite wide. I found both at recycled office furniture places for amazing prices.
