Stuffing

Sugar

johutt:
I can eat so much fat all day it's crazy. I can stuff me with butter, cream, bacon, oils all day everyday. But if I eat just a small amount of sweets I'm completely full for the rest of the day. Does that happen to anyone else? Like once you give in to sweets you won't be able to eat that much more after?

Its actually supposed to be the opposite. Fats make humans feel full quicker and for longer. Its the sugars and simple carbs that get digested fast and your hungry again soon after just having eaten.
Depending on what sweet things you are eating, it could also have a lot of fat in it along with sugar. A lot of desserts are often high in sugar and fats.
Anyway, I'm not this way. Fats are much more filling, for me. Which is part of the difficulty with trying to gain and eating lots of fats. Sugar also has metabolic risks. Anyway, not sure why you are the opposite. Maybe your body reacts differently to fats and carbs. Maybe a doctor would help letting you know what is going on. Good luck either way! smiley

Sugar

I hear ya. I am in a similar situation. Trying to gain subcutaneous fat. Trying to stay away from too much sugar to avoid visceral fat and any possible metabolic issues. Even tho I doubt I am anywhere close to getting either.
I remember trying to gain a few years back. I was able to gain about 20ish lbs in a few months. When I started I could barely eat anything. Kinda what I am dealing with now. But, as time went on and I pushed myself to keep eating eventually I noticed that anytime I didn't feel full I was hungry. It was actually a little scary! I could kinda see how ones appetite could get out of control. Resulting in gaining way more than I would want or would be healthy. But that's just me. Others have different wants. But yeah, I think I know what you are talking about. When you get to that point where you feel hungry almost all the time. Best of luck and hope things work out for you! smiley
