Juniors Restaurant (Times Square, W 45th/Downtown Brooklyn) has been comfortable to me...though Downtown Brooklyn before/after the dinner crowd is relaxing.
Carmine's on Broadway by W 91st was bittersweet to me but the portions did hit.
