Gaining

What is the first step?

I have been wanting to gain weight for years but have always been too scared to due to the friends I have had around me. But that has all changed, I have finally gone to college and no longer have to worry about the past friends commenting on my body. I can change from being an athletic person to someone that will eventually hit 600lbs. But I don't know how to start. I will be eating as much as I can at my college's dining halls but besides that I don't know what to do. I really want to find people that would help me gain weight but I don't have a clue how. I just want to be fat and have fun doing so but I don't want to be alone doing it. So what should the first steps be in starting my gain?

Well, I can't say much about finding people, but if you're serious about getting fatter, work on your capacity. Stuff yourself if you can, then top yourself off as you digest. Expanding your stomach makes for more calories digested (and craved) at every meal. Now, don't go stuffing every meal, just stretch a bit, then just eat until full.

Would it be bad to stuff myself every meal? Besides the stomach aches is there anything wrong with it? Also what do you mean by “top yourself off”

Yeah, if for no other reason than to keep from expanding your capacity too far. You'll always be hungry, eat a lot more to get full. It's less reversible than getting fat itself.

RIP your wallet. That would get very expensive very quickly. Not just the food, but you'd have to buy a lot of new clothes very quickly from the rapid weight gain.

This is, of course, assuming you won't vomit from being constantly full. Also the fact that you'd pretty much live on your toilet. All that food's gotta go somewhere.

You also run the risk of acid reflux disease.

Stuffing is fine. Frequent stuffing is sexy. But constantly stuffing yourself? Unwise.

What is the first step?

Eating as much as you like and can is the obvious first step. I've found that heavy cream works wonders and really adds enough calories to jump start gaining. Just like eating you kinda gotta ease into it. Give your body the chance to adjust to that much food, fat, and calories. Then as your body adjusts and can handle it add more. Having a few gulps of heavy cream after meals and before bed. The amount of calories you need to gain just one pound is 3500 and that's on top of the 2000-2500 you need each day just to live. So if you aren't used to eating that much it takes time. Plus your body can only digest so much at any given time. Start off slow and give your body a couple weeks to get used to the excess and then add more food, heavy cream, etc. Repeat. Best of luck!
