I don't think I'm saying anything new, but the transgender catch-all is useless. The site doesn't do this with cisgender people.

I'm cis. You wouldn't put all cispeople under a catchall cisgender label. You'd specify. I'm pretty sure a person looking to talk to a man would be super disappointed to find out I'm a woman.

Sure, the trans experience is much more than transman and transwoman. But it would be nice to give more options than "transgender" and "no gender".

This is something that is already on our to do list. We tend to update the site in sections so when the profiles are due to be looked at again we will look to add this Trans (Male) and Trans (Female) as options rather than having Transgender as a catch all summary.
