I'm a big Star Wars fan, and I was thinking about going as this guy (Jabba's green guards, the Gamorrean), but the head part is too expensive to buy and I wouldn't know how to make it.

Worked at a party supply store in the late ‘90s. Many costumes carried a plus size option, but really weren’t all that “plus.” I hope things have changed to accommodate all the growing waistlines out there now :-)

Honestly, I've been minorly altering my clothes, instead focusing on my head, and how I act. This year's going to be a pilot, leather jacket and grey pants, with a leather helmet, goggles, and fake cigar.
Last year I was Backwards Guy.

Think about modding the clothes you have, instead of getting new costumes.
