I was thinking if you get fat before you are 10 does that alter the type of fat you have compared to say someone over 20 getting fat?

I was obese from about the age of 7 and I have mostly soft subcutaneous fat and a lot on my rump and hip for a male.

Yes! Been obese since before school age and definitely have more subcutaneous fat, hips, butt and thighs than normal for a male.
